Come and grab a snag on us this Australia Day – You Beauty!

To celebrate our great nation the MMA will be hosting a FREE sausage sizzle on Thursday 25 January.

Follow your nose to loading North (located at the end of stores 01-02 in the undercover loading area). The barbeque will be sizzling from 3:30am to 5:30am.

Drinks, salads and coffee will also be available for purchase at the BBQ.

The Fruit and Vegetable market will be closed on Friday 26 January for the Australia Day public holiday.

The following trading hours will apply for the Fruit and Vegetable Market:

  • Thursday 25 January: 2:30am to 7:00am. (one hour earlier)
  • Friday 26 January: Market Closed

If your parking permit only allows access on a day where a public holiday falls, and you would like to come to the Market on an alternative adjacent day (for example your parking permit is for a Friday and you would like to access the Market on Thursday 25 January), you will not be charged for parking and can enter the Market. However please note, your regular bay may not be available. Please seek instruction from a Market Relations Officer on arrival.

Warehouse access remains unchanged. Access for warehouse tenants is 24 hours 7 days a week

Harvest to Home Project launches online veg consumer data dashboard

Hort Innovation and Nielsen Australia have launched an online dashboard featuring the largest series of insights into market performance and shopping behaviour ever provided to the Australian vegetable industry.The Harvest to Home dashboard features behavioural and attitudinal insights for a range of commodities, including vegetable, onion and sweet potato data. The dashboard is funded through a strategic levy investment under the Hort Innovation Vegetable, Onion and Sweet potato Funds.

Register for Hort Connections

Early bird registrations are now open for the Hort Connections 2018.

The event runs from 18-20 June at the Brisbane Convention Centre and boasts the biggest destination for Horticulture in Australia and New Zealand.

Passionfruit and Mango point of sale are currently available for FREE at the vintage truck located outside the Customer Service Centre.

Get your hands on these kits to add some colour to your store this summer. Kits include posters, recipe flyers and bunting.
