Make the most of social media

Have you checked out some of the great content on the A Better Choice social media channels?
The content is not only interesting and engaging, but it is a source you can use for your benefit!
By sharing or linking A Better Choice social media posts to your store’s own Facebook or Instagram pages, you can engage with your audience while further creating awareness around the A Better Choice brand.
Our members who are getting involved with A Better Choice social media are seeing some fantastic results.
“We have doubled our Facebook followers since joining the A Better Choiceprogram, just by engaging and sharing social media posts.”

Full site emergency evacuation drill

On Wednesday 1 May at 11:00 am, we will be conducting a full site emergency evacuation drill.
The drill will evacuate all tenants on Market land, including all administration building tenants, Buyers’ walk tenants, warehouse tenants, visitors, and subcontractors on site.
Upon hearing the site evacuation tones, everyone will need to follow site evacuation procedures and follow the directions of Market Relations Officers.
The drill should take approximately 20 minutes.
We look forward to your participation.

United station opening soon

The United unmanned diesel station is almost complete and we expect to see our first Market users filling up by early May.
You can set up a United Card now, allowing you to take advantage of some great discounts as soon as the station opens.
Call 1300 FUEL UP (1300 383 587) to set up your United card today.

Access card renewals

Unpaid access card renewal invoices are now overdue.
Business principals are advised to pay your access card renewal invoice in full, if you have not done so already, to avoid restricted access to the Market and disruption to your business.

Industry News

‘Trust gap’ exists between consumers and food producers

Greater trust needs to be built between consumers and food providers if public confidence is to be ensured over adequate food safety measures.
That’s one of the outcomes from a Flinders University study which has gone over the relationship between food safety and consumers.
Read more on the Good Fruits and Vegetables website.

On the 25th of April each year we stop to recognise Anzac Day and commemorate those who have fought in combat for Australia.
Hear about the landing at Gallipoli, as described by some of the men that lived through it.
