The Fresh Five

This week we talk to Rick Mazaris.
1. Your role at the Melbourne Market:
I work for Mazcorp 5 in sales. Our main lines are leafy veg; things like broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce and cabbage.
2. If you could only take three fruits or vegetables with you to a desert island, which would you take:
Mangoes, watermelon and strawberries just because they all taste good.
3. When was the last time you bought flowers for someone (or had them bought for you):
Last week for my girlfriend, I always buy them from here at the Market, I get her a bunch every couple of weeks (Rick was spotted the very next day in the Flower Market buying a bunch from Halit Flowers!)
4. Tell us something that is on your ‘bucket list’:
I want to travel through Europe and sight-see.
5. What do you most enjoy about working at the Melbourne Market:
Definitely the atmosphere and the people around us.
