Birthday in June? Give the gift of roses

Flowers are always a wonderful birthday gift for someone you care about whether a relative, friend or sweetheart. Did you know each month of the year has a particular flower associated with it? June is the month of the rose.
With around 60 stand holders, occupying 140 stands, the Melbourne Flower Market in Epping has the largest range of flowers in Victoria. 1. Your role at the Melbourne Market: Chief Operating Officer at Melbourne Market Authority.
2. If you could only take three fruits or vegetables with you to a desert island, which would you take: That’s a tough one, I don’t want to play favourites in the Market! But if I had to choose I’d say tomatoes, potatoes and oranges.
3. When was the last time you bought flowers for someone: Two weeks ago, for my wife Jacquelin, but I can’t tell you the reason why…
4. Tell us something that is on your ‘bucket list’: To go on an extended holiday in Italy, last time I was there I didn’t want to leave.
5. What do you most enjoy about working at the Melbourne Market: It’s vibrancy, the people that make up the personality of the Market, and it is a great place to work.
