In today’s Flower Market Circular, a Christmas message from the MMA, a reminder about Christmas trading hours and a new fee schedule for 2018.

Christmas trading hours

A reminder the Flower Market will be closed on the following date during Christmas:

Tuesday 26 December – Boxing Day

Trading hours will operate as normal outside of this date.

If your parking permit only allows access on a day where a public holiday falls and you would like to come to the Market on an alternative adjacent day, you will not be charged for parking and can enter the Market.

However, please note your regular bay may not be available. Please seek instruction from a Market Relations Officer on arrival.

Fees update

On 1 January each year, general Market fees, including access cards and parking, increase by a fixed 4 per cent.

In the interests of fairness, all Market users contribute to the provision and operation of the Market infrastructure – which comes at a significant cost, through parking fees.

Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show 2018

Don’t forget tickets are now on sale for the 23rd annual Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show from 21-25 March 2018.

Visitors to the show will experience masterclasses with floral designers, meet key landscape designers, exhibitors and industry experts, as well as peruse the avenues of exhibitors selling everything from bulbs, plants, tools, trinkets and garden accessories.
