STORE HOLDER ACCESS TO EPPING STORES FOR FIT-OUT

This notice is to advise all Epping store holders that landlord works are almost complete and that on and from 17 September 2014 (handover date) store holders will have access to their stores to carry out their own individualised fit-out.

The handover of Epping stores to store holders is an important step in the count down to the opening of the new market at Epping.

The Melbourne Market Authority (MMA) is writing to all Epping store holders to confirm the handover date for store holder fit-out.

Epping store holders will need to notify Matt Sneazwell from Root Projects Australia, the MMA’s Tenancy Co-ordinator on (03) 9654 0488 to make specific arrangements for their stores.
Under the terms of the Agreement for Lease (AFL) between store holders and the MMA for Epping store leases, tenant fit out works must commence by no later than 27 October 2014. Store holders are however encouraged to commence the fit-out works at any time after the handover date.

During the fit-out period, the MMA will require access to stores for brief periods to complete floor cleaning and final treatment. This is permitted under the AFL’s. When access is needed, the MMA’s Tenancy Co-ordinator will contact relevant store holders.

Work is proceeding well between Fresh State, Root Projects Australia and the MMA on store fit-out options.
