As part of the Business Partnership Program each year the Melbourne Markets hosts a Corporate Golf Day bringing together traders, buyers and other businesses associated with the Market.
The Golf Day is being held on Tuesday, 29 October at the Sunshine Golf Club situated at Mt Derrimut Rd, Derrimut. The day is concluded with presentation to winners, prizes and refreshments.
Registrations will commence in mid September 2013.
The Melbourne Market Authority will be exhibiting at the world renowned Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show again in 2013.
As a regular exhibitor at this event, the Melbourne Market stand showcases a range of fresh cut flowers including some old classics as well as new varieties on the market.
The stand is aimed to show visitors the range of flowers and creative arrangements on offer from their local florists and greengrocers as well as encourage them to use fresh cut flowers to brighten their homes.
There is also ‘meet the florist’ demonstrations held twice daily to educate people on caring for flowers and some simple arranging techniques.
