What is the Central Markets Association of Australia?
The Central Markets Assciation of Australia(CMAA) was formed in 2001 to represent central wholesale Markets located throughout Australia and to formalise the working relationship between these Markets.
CMAA Objectives
Australian wholesale markets have many similarities in regard to operational, administration, communication, marketing, and industry issues. The objective of the CMAA is to provide a forum through which areas of common interests can be addressed.
The objectives of the Association include the opportunity to;
meet regularly and exchange views and information;
coordinate submissions and recommendations to State and Commonwealth Governments;
have national representation;
coordinate representation to various overseas conferences and to disseminate the related information.
